Below is a quick guide to how Pure Turf works, what to expect, and where to go if you ever need help.
How Pure Turf works.
Healthy lawns aren't built in a week. They're built through consistency, proper timing, and the right treatments at the right time of year.
Our program is based on seasonal timing, soil health, root strength, prevention, and correction. Results build over time, especially here in Middle Tennessee where weather, weeds, heat, and soil conditions all play a role.
You'll receive a service notification before each visit and a detailed summary after every treatment, so you always know what was done.
What to expect on each visit.
- A trained technician arrives in uniform
- A complimentary soil test on your first visit
- Your scheduled seasonal treatment is applied
- Your turf conditions are evaluated
- A service summary is emailed afterward
After a treatment, you may notice weeds beginning to yellow or curl within 7–14 days. You may also notice gradual color and thickness improvements throughout the season.
One important note: it can take a full growing season to significantly improve a lawn. A lawn that improves steadily holds up better through heat, drought, and winter than one pushed too fast.
Frequently asked questions.
- How much should I water?
- Watering is one of the most important parts of lawn health. Your lawn needs consistent moisture to get the best results from your treatments, especially during dry or hot stretches. We'll continue to share seasonal recommendations as your lawn moves through the year.
- When should I mow?
- Regular mowing helps your lawn stay healthy and encourages thicker turf. Try not to cut too short, especially during periods of heat or stress. A higher mowing height helps protect the root system and supports stronger growth.
- Does rain affect my treatment?
- Rain is almost always good for your treatment. Most applications need moisture to soak in and activate, so even light rain right after we apply usually helps. The one exception is a heavy downpour before the product has time to adhere. If that happens, we'll come back and reapply at no cost to you.
Clear, predictable billing.
If you pay after each service, we'll use the card on file after each completed treatment and send you a receipt. If you haven't added a payment method yet, you can update that anytime through your customer portal.
If you choose to prepay, we offer a 10% prepay discount at the start of each calendar year. We'll notify you each January when that option becomes available.
Choosing not to prepay does not mean you're canceling your service — it simply means your treatments will be billed after each visit.
There are no contracts and nothing to sign. Your service renews automatically each year, so your lawn stays on a consistent schedule season after season. And because there's no contract, you're always free to make changes — just reach out and we'll take care of it.
